Desktop image library for Windows and macOS

Browse huge image libraries without a stutter.

Tens or hundreds of thousands of images, and scrolling still keeps up. Keep what you collect, organized and searchable, right on your own machine.

Works on Windows 10/11. The beta is free to try.

What makes Sisho different

Libraries tend to get slower as they grow. Sisho is built around the grid view so that it doesn’t.

  • Smooth, even when huge

A virtualized grid draws only what is on screen, and GPU rendering keeps scrolling light as your library grows.

  • Import from Eagle

Bring in your existing Eagle library and keep working right away.

  • Clip images from your browser

A Chrome / Edge extension saves images you find to Sisho in one click.

  • Video support

Videos live in the same grid as images. Hover to play and check what’s inside at a glance.

  • 6 themes

Choose from six color themes to match your taste and your workspace.

  • Your data stays local

Images and the catalog are stored on your own PC. No cloud upload required.

Note: concrete performance numbers (e.g. scrolling speed at various library sizes) will be published here once measurements are final. TODO: add benchmark results

About the beta

The Windows beta is available now. Please read the following before you start.

  1. ExpiryEach beta build expires about 45 days after it is published. Download and install the newer beta when that happens. Even after expiry, viewing and exporting still work.
  2. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”The build is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC”. Choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
